Steeped in History and Situated 10 miles ENE of Belize City, St. George's Caye  which is the Historical Capital of Belize where the Battle of St. George's Caye took place between the Spaniards and the English. Every year Belizeans celebrate the Battle of St. George's Caye on the 10th. day of September a National Holiday.

The barrier reef which is about one and a half miles away offers fantastic snorkeling and diving in crystal clear blue water. Fishing is awesome and there is plenty of sea delectables that you can catch yourselves for that incomparable freshness sure to please your palate.

West faces Belize city a 20 to 25 minute boat ride away. All the island homes and resorts are self sufficient using solar and wind and sometimes coupled with small diesel generators. Refrigeration and cooking are done largely with gas.

The Minister of Natural Resources the Honorable John Briceno in a ceremony, declared the remaining  lands on St. George's Caye a Natural Reserve therefore no more property available  which will drive prices up.
