Deep Blue Water Caye

"Deep Blue Water Caye is a beautiful 2.44 Acre tropical island which is located only 4 Miles off the coast of Belize in the Blue Ground Range.  This lovely island has 140 coconut trees as well as a number of other native plants giving it a wonderfully peaceful and natural feeling.  The island features a protected deep water lagoon on the eastern side which is perfect for mooring  large or small boats.  It is also easily accessible by a navigable channel which passes through Blue Ground Range, right next to Deep Blue Water Caye.

This area is noted for its' incredible bird life as well as proximity to amazing living coral reefs (you can swim to them right off the shore!).  Deep Blue Water Caye is only 5 miles from the World Heritage Site, the Belize Barrier Reef, which is excellent for diving, snorkeling and fishing.   

Also within close proximity is Sittee River (4 miles), an excellent and well known boat docking point with road access and protected waters to board your boat.  Sittee River is also well known for its' extensive bird and animal life.

Dangriga is an easy 9 miles away across the Inner or Main Channel, an open expanse of water which allows for easy navigation to Deep Blue Water Cay.  Dangriga is a large town which has numerous stores, including large grocery stores, hardware stores, pharmacies, building supplies, agricultural supplies, markets for fresh fruits and vegetables and other stores.  Dangriga also has an airport and hospital as well as numerous restaurants and hotels.
